I do not know much but YaH willing here is what I know:
The 'star of david' should be called YaHushua's Calling Card. We see it a few times in the standard 66's most notably during the birth of our MessiYaH YaHushua, but the place in the script that really shows the magnificence of this event in found in the pseudepigrapha. In the 'lost book' of Joseph and Aseneth (Joseph with the multi-colored coat) we see Joseph's future wife go through the 'grafting in' process. After a week of intense crying and fasting and overall repentance, Aseneth see's a star. Rather than summarizing... YaH willing let me just post what happened next.... (it is below). I call this book the 'chick-flick' of the bible lol but in all honesty there are so many beautiful lessons to be learned from this story. However regarding the topic at hand, the star she saw was YaHushua's calling card, and she even stated that this same star will herald in the 'great day'. I do not like the term David's star because I do not want someone to confuse what I am saying with the star of molek (ewww wicked! ). Rather calling it YaHushua's calling card makes it clear that this star is not special in its own right but rather points to and lets the earth know that its Maker, its Savior, Yisrael's Ish, is here and ready to handle some form of business. So YaH willing keep your eyes on the sky and minds on The Most High, you never know when that calling card might come your way! HalleluYaH! OH and here is the link to the book Joseph and Aseneth pdf (http://www.markgoodacre.org/aseneth/translat.htm) and here is the audio link just in case you don't have time to read it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bNLe49WZA8). Hands down one of my favorite books, this one, Jasher, 2nd Esdras, and 2nd Baruk and.. well I keep going lol!
"And as Aseneth finished her confession to the Lord, lo, the morning star rose in the eastern sky. 2. And Aseneth saw it and rejoiced and said, "The Lord God has indeed heard me, for this star is a messenger and herald of the light of the great day. 3. And lo, the heaven was torn open near the morning star and an indescribable light appeared. 4. And Aseneth fell on her face upon the ashes; and there came to her a man from heaven and stood at her head; and he called to her, "Aseneth". 5. And she said, "Who called me? For the door of my room is shut and the tower is high: how then did anyone get into my room?" 6. And the man called her a second time and said, "Aseneth, Aseneth;" and she said, "Here am I, my lord, tell me who you are." 7. And the man said, "I am the commander of the Lord's house and chief captain of all the host of the Most High: stand up, and I will speak to you." 8. And she looked up and saw a man like Joseph in every respect, with a robe and a crown and a royal staff. 9. But his face was like lightning, and his eyes were like the light of the sun, and the hairs of his head like flames of fire, and his hands and feet like iron from the fire. 10. And Aseneth looked at him, and she fell on her face at his feet in great fear and trembling. 11. And the man said to her, "Take heart, Aseneth, and do not be afraid; but stand up, and I will speak to you." 12. And Aseneth got up, and the man said to her, "Take off the black tunic you are wearing and the sackcloth round your waist, and shake the ashes off your head, and wash your face with water. 13. And put on a new robe that you have never worn before, and tie your bright girdle round your waist -- the double girdle of your virginity. 14. And then come back to me, and I will tell you what I have been sent to you to say." :
